The Highland Lace and Textiles Co is a small family-owned business located in Nova Scotia Canada, operating since 1987. We deal primarily with custom curtain orders, and we ship worldwide.

Cookies

Cookies are small data files that are placed on a computer or mobile device when someone visits a website to remember preferences and analyze traffic.

Highland Lace serves “first-party cookies” set by the WordPress domain that runs our site. These are the functional cookies without which you would not be able to navigate the site.

Our WordPress domain also relies on various Plugins which may set “third-party” cookies which are also functional in nature.

Highland Lace does not use plugins that set non-essential cookies, such as analytics, advertising, or social media tracking.

We do have an intake form which lets people enter their name and email address to subscribe to our Mailchimp newsletter.  See Mailchimp’s Cookie Statement.

From time to time Highland Lace’s Blog Posts may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.) from other websites.  If you interact with that embedded content, it behaves the same as if you had visited the other website.

The other website may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with their content.

Who we share your data with

The only data we collect are the names and email addresses of people who want to receive our Newsletter. We share that list with no one. And, when a subscriber unsubscribes, their data is automatically deleted.
